The extravagant head of state of the small southern African kingdom has spent millions of rands in the past few months on some super luxury vehicles.
And Mswati is not brand loyal either as he has a string of BMW and DaimlerChrysler models parked in his garage.
Almost every other week there is a news report on his latest acquisition while almost two thirds of Swaziland's 1.2 million inhabitants live on less than $1 a day.
He just bought a Mercedes S-Class Pullman as part if his luxury car collection for himself and his 10 wives.
It was recently reported that he bought for each of his 10 wives a BMW 5 Series, which retails for between R375 000 and R580 000. In April last year the king reportedly signed a cheque of approximately R9m for 10 BMW 7 series models.
Mswati's new S-Class Pullman, which is a stretched version of Mercedes' S-Class, wasn't delivered by DaimlerChrysler South Africa and the king must have had it specially imported.
In normal length guise the top of the range S-Class, the S600, has a price tag of about R1.1m, which means that Mswati has probably paid more than double that for the Pullman version.
His most controversial car is DaimlerChrysler's flagship Maybach 62 which could sell for up to R4m.
