اعلنت جي ام انها قررت عدم بيع اي ماركة خاصة بها سواء ساب او همر او تلغيهما ولن تضيف كذلك ماركات اخرى .. واليكم نص الخبر :
General Motors won't sell or otherwise dispose of its Saab and Hummer brands, the Detroit News reported.
Last January, Jerome York — then an adviser to billionaire investor Kirk Kerkorian and now a GM board member — said GM should either sell or kill its Saab and Hummer brands as part of its turnaround.
In response, GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz said this month at the New York International Auto Show, "We're totally happy with what we've got...We're not going to add any [brands]. But we're not going to remove any."
As it stands, as part of its North American turnaround, GM has a new brand strategy: Cadillac and Chevrolet will be its only full-line brands, while Saturn, Buick, Pontiac, GMC, Hummer and Saab will offer limited product lines and target specific markets, the News said.

General Motors is recalling about 400,000 pickup trucks to fix potentially defective brake lights, The Associated Press reported.
The affected vehicles are the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon from the 2004-2006 model years and the 2006 Isuzu i-280 and i-350.
GM said vehicles with the problem may lose brake-lamp function or have brake lamps that are always on. On vehicles with cruise control, that function also becomes inoperative.
GM spokesman Alan Adler said the company was not aware of any crashes resulting from the problem, the story said.
