Here's the next "Made in South Africa" Mercedes-Benz C-Class, complete with more-rounded styling and new engines.
The next Mercedes-Benz C-Class, due to be made in South Africa for both right-hand-drive and left-hand-drive markets, will have a more-rounded look, and is expected to be bigger inside and out than the outgoing car.
Top UK magazine Auto Express reports that spy pictures in its possession indicate the car will still follow an evolutionary trend - but the look will be sleeker and sportier.
Engines will certainly include new 3.5-litre petrol models as well as the new 3.2-litre turbo-diesel units, as well as a range of upgraded petrol engines.
DaimlerChrysler South Africa plans to build as many as 80 000 of the new cars a year following a R2-billion upgrade of its East London factory.
