British paratroopers sent home after Kabul shooting
Two British paratroopers serving with the international security force in Afghanistan have been sent back to Britain after their involvement in a shooting incident that killed an Afghan man.
Conflicting accounts emerged after Saturday's shooting. International Security Assistance Force officials said the British soldiers returned fire after an unidentified gunman shot at them from a convoy. But an Afghan man said that the convoy was taking a pregnant woman to the hospital and that the British troops fired without provocation.
The international security force said the Britons remain on active duty and will assist in the investigation.

عاد اثنان من جنود المظلات البريطانيين اللذان يعملان مع قوة الأمن الدولية الموجودة في أفغانستان إلى بريطانيا عقب تورطهم في حادث لإطلاق النار أسفر عن مصرع أفغاني.
ظهرت تقارير متباينة بعد حادث إطلاق النار الذي وقع يوم السبت. صرح مسئولو قوة مساعدة الأمن الدولية أن الجنود البريطانيين ردوا إطلاق النار بعد أن فتح مسلح مجهول عليهم النيران من قافلة. إلا أن رجل أفغاني قال أن القافلة كانت تنقل إمرأة حامل إلى المستشفى وقامت القوات البريطانية بإطلاق النار عليها دون إثارتها.
قالت قوّة الأمن الدّوليّة أنّ البريطانيّين يبقون على الخدمة الفعليّة و سوف تساعد في التحقيق .
