والله يا s2000 دورت على الموضوع ووصلت للتالي :
In the spring of 1996, Al Turner asked Peter Weismann to come up with a innovative engine/transmission packagebased on the "Quickshift" for a Jeep to set the a new standard for Truck Manufactures around the world to meet. In the next couple of days, Peter, Chris and Pat layed out a rough design that would become the Jeep Icon -a 2wd/4wd, 12speed Semi/Automatic Weismann "Quickshift" Transmission, with Weismann Lockers for differentials.
وعلى ما اعتقد انه قصدهم ب 12 غيار هو 4 غيارات للدفع بعجلتين و 4 ثانيين للدفع ب اربع عجلات "2wd/4wd, 12speed Semi/Automatic" هذا والله اعلم .
