ماذا تعرف عن"child abuse" في الخليج؟

اللي خلاني افتح هذا الموضوع هو اني مليت من رؤية
الاطفال الصغار يبيعون المناديل في كل وقت
معرضين انفسهم للخطر وتحت مراى وسمع الجميع
وماخفي كان اعظم,,,,,,,,,,,,,
كيف نقدر نوقف هذي المهزلة؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟

i know it's a critical issue,but lettin' those children sellin' tissues in the streets under diffrent circumstances is considered abuse by itself
u r wrong kohailan, we can make a difference & a big one too خ
we have to stop them, we have to teach the children to recognise abuse & reject it
we have to do something...........
That scene happens all the time in Riyadh......

بيع المناديل في الشوارع مجرد مثل لاساءة معاملة الاطفال
هل تعتقد ان طفل ابو 6 سنوات قادر انه يخطط ويفكر لوحده؟

مثال اخر؟
من فترة توفت بنت عمرها 5 سنوات نتيجة شربها للكلوركس
الى هنا والموضوع طبيعي
بالرجوع لملف الطفلة لقوا ان هذي 3 مرة تشرب فيها الكلوروكس
طيب وين الام؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟
بعد التحقيق اعترفت الام انها هي اللي كانت تشربها الكلوروكس
عشان تقدر تطلع من البيت لان زوجها حابسها؟؟؟؟
القضيه هنا ما هي CHILD ABUSE وبس لكن فين حقوق المراه كانسانة؟

فيه كمان قصه ثانيه انكأ من الاولى,حابين تسمعونها؟؟؟؟؟

This is very important issue.There is a difference between child abuse and child neglect. I agree with you that when child neglect is persisent and recurrent should be considered as an abuse.
Child abuse per se is not common in the gulf area compared to the western country. I lived in a western country where child abuse is a daily occurance especially the worst kind of it which is sexual abuse. I think most of the cases of child abuse in the gulf countries are inflicted by the house maids and workers other than the family members. If you are really interested in this issue I can direct you to mre importnat resourses.

Child abuse have different types including
(سوء معاملة الاطفال جنسيا او بالضرب اواستغلالهم في البيع او التسول او بالتجارة باعضائهم )
i dont agree with u , this problem is a big issue in the gulf countries based on offical statistics from ministries of health , and it is not a problem coused by the house maids or drivers ..family members are playing a big role in this matter.ifg need stories or more elaboration let me know...because children selling paper tissue in the street is only THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG....

well i'd appreciate it more if you give me more info about it
though i know a lot,but i need a real figures
not that i'm about a study or something, but just being intrested
i know that we don't have this prob in a wide range but we have to admit that we have it 'n' it exists, 'n' we have to remember one important thing, that 'cos of our community wich helps keeping everything undercovers for so man reasons, this fact might affect the statistics,
one day an 18 months child was admitted as a case of BRAIN DEATH,
the reason for that is 'cos she fel from her bed??????????after reviewin' her old chart, this baby girl was admitted when she was 9 months old as a case of rupture vagina 'n' anal cavity??????/
NOW, where was her mother?why the investigations were closed 'n' her file burried 'n' no one wasn't allowed 2 talk about it? even the Drhe didn't believe that her death was normal
IF her mother spoke out earlier, wouldn't this girl be alive now?


we should free ourselves from fear 'n we should speak out each time we see something wrong. 'cos 2 wrongs doesn't make it right
denyin' facts is not gonna help fixin' a corruption

BUT 'N' A BIG FAT BUT, these cases still a minority, yet we have to fight it 'n' get rid of it, i believe that we can if we have faith 'n' well

Again there is no exact figures about child abuse in our area
There are several reasons for that:
1) most of the cases are not reported
2)there is no accepted definition for child abuse in our society
3)there is no policy for reporting such cases
4 )most of the cases are hard to proove legally
5)there is no acceptable way to follow up those suspected cases after discharge from hospital
6 ) the only well documented and completed cases are those inflicted by non-family members and that is why they seem to be the most common cases ??!


My question is:
Is severe punishment by the parents of a child like spanking and physical harm cinsidred a child abuse ?
I know in north america it is an abuse but here ???!

'n' no i don't think spankin' is considered some kind of abuse,'cos some children REALLY have to be spanked, but not in a hard way 'n' it should be reserved to extreme caese......

'n' all the justifications u gave are 100% correct '.

او ان فيه اب او ام يرضى ان بنته ام 13 سنه تدور في هالشوارع
من غير ما يقلق عليها
هذا الوضع لازم ما ينسكت عليه
لكن كيف؟
لازم ايجاد بديل لهؤلاء الاطفال لازم نعرف ونستأصل الروس المدبرة

there is no doubt that those kids are being taken advantage of by more than just their parents ..
who I dont exempt from being responsible ..
و في الحقيقة this subject is both sensitive and critical ..
sensitive because it involves other society members not only kids who are the victims and parents who are mainly to blame ..
where is the society from this ?? where are the values set by our Islam .. where are the traditions which always call for consolidation among socity as members who support each other ..

a kid + accepting parent +mafia + government indifference directly or indirectly = lost and corrupt society
