Yes i am>>>
actually oncology means CANCER
in the mean time i'm working as oncologist pharmacist ,hopefully i'll start my Ph.D next fall,
i love this speciality , though u became frustrated when u see all this sick 'n' terrified patients, but knowing that u can help them makes all the frustration fades away>>>.
i'm hopin' that one day we 'll be able to find a permenant cure for cancer>>> 'n' more over i hope i'll be part of it
prob is our patients need to be tought how important it is to know their disease 'n' their medications as well, 'cos most of them ignore the fact that chemotherapy is a very vital mediactions that u can't mess around with it .
compliance is another major issue that patients don't really give it much attention, while they r mistaken, no treatment = no cure
well, i guess i can talk 4ever abut this
since i'm a stong believer in what i'm doin' 'n' my job is my one 'n' only love
though i might say it stinks ...oooops!!
i'm not gonna say this word again

needin' more info? i'm here

Hi again,
well INTERFERON is not a treatment for cancer by it's own
usually it's given in a combination with other chemo therapy
usually it's indicated in colorectal cancer
as far as i know we never use it in leukemia but i guess there is a new article which studied that, i'll searchc 4 it 'n' let u know
ARA-C or CYTARABINE is commonly used chemo agent , it treats most types of cancer especially in paeds
i can give u a very helpful site, it's my fav if u want to
